In this session we bring together the themes of the conference: influencing policy and practice and engaging with research. We will share real-world examples from the work of ASE and other associations to illustrate how we as teacher developers can:

support practitioners to apply research in their practice
support practitioners to engage with research in their practice
influence national, regional and school/Trust policy

Conference participants will be invited to share their own examples, so that together we learn from each other's experience.
