About me
Claire Seeley has been a teacher for over thirty years in a wide variety of contexts including both inner city and rural schools England. Claire is also a Primary Science Consultant, providing both continuing professional development and initial teacher training. She has a passion for exploring the natural world and is interested in climate change education. Alongside her consultancy work, Claire is a hub leader for Primary Science Quality Mark and leads their RSC Funded Professional Development programme.
Over the last seven years Claire has worked as an education consultant on a number of BBC education campaigns, live lessons and CBeebies shows. Claire is an author for Harper Collins Snap Science. In 2013 Claire was awarded the Primary Science Teacher of the Year award, which was further endorsed by the Royal Society of Biology in 2021.
